Membership Pack Delays

The Fan Advisory Board (FAB) has been engaging with the Club regarding Membership arrangements and fulfilment issues since October 2025.

At the FAB meeting on 27 October, the issue first emerged during a wider discussion about how the Membership programme operates across the season. In the published minutes of that meeting, the Club explained:

“Please note that the Membership programme was previously run by a 3rd party and was brought in house this summer. As 365-day memberships have already been sold to supporters before we took control in house, this has had to be maintained for the transition. As a Club will continue to explore the best ways to manage membership and welcome FAB input over the coming months.”

At the subsequent FAB meeting on 2 December, the Club provided a more specific update on fulfilment delays. In the published notes issued on 11 December, the Club stated:

“We’re in the process of changing our third party supplier for membership – they’ve now been notified of termination but this doesn’t happen until [the] end of May 2026. This is a major contributing factor to the delay in the membership packs being delivered and we’re working hard to resolve this delay.”

The Club further advised that:

“We’re expecting some gifts will be going out in early December, subject to the third party completing the fulfilment, and more gifts are on order. Communications are also planned which will update members on the status and timeline for member packs delivery.”

On 16 December, the Club issued a direct communication to supporters confirming that:

“You will receive your pack from March 2026.”

The FAB welcomes and recognises the importance of clarity and transparency in communicating revised timelines. However, the timescale now being communicated represents a significant delay compared with earlier expectations, and we fully understand why many members will feel disappointed and frustrated. This issue has been added to the agenda for the next scheduled FAB meeting with the Club on 13 January, where we will seek further clarity on delivery timelines, communications, and what additional steps can be taken to improve the experience for members.

Since its reconstitution and relaunch in August 2025, the FAB has established a constructive and open working relationship with the Club. We welcome the honesty shown regarding the challenges involved in transitioning suppliers, and we are committed to maintaining a productive relationship. At the same time, as representatives of supporters, it is our responsibility to challenge and push back where issues have a direct impact on fans, and to ensure these concerns are clearly and consistently raised.

The FAB will continue to monitor this issue closely and provide updates where appropriate.

Supporters who wish to stay informed about this and other FAB activity are encouraged to join the FAB mailing list, where we share updates, meeting summaries, and opportunities for fan input.
