The Aston Villa Fan Advisory Board (FAB) has completed its annual internal elections for the 2026/27 season, and we are pleased to confirm who will hold our two leadership roles for the year ahead.
Why we hold elections
As part of the FAB’s governance arrangements, we elect a Chair and a Vice Chair every year. This gives every member a say in how the board is led, and makes sure that the people in these roles continue to have the backing of the rest of the FAB.
The results
- Chair: Karl Bowater continues as Chair of the FAB.
- Vice Chair: Sue O’Brien takes over as Vice Chair, replacing Nick Hoskins.
Nick has decided to step down as Vice Chair so that he can focus on his work with the Lions Club and on the FAB Ticketing Working Group. We would like to thank Nick for everything he has done as Vice Chair since the FAB was formed, and we are pleased that he will continue to play an important part in our work on ticketing, one of the most important areas for supporters this season.
Looking ahead
With the new season under way, the FAB has plenty to do, including continuing to work with the club on ticketing, the matchday experience during the North Stand redevelopment, and making sure supporter feedback leads to real change. We congratulate Karl and Sue and look forward to working with them and with all of you over the coming year.
If there is something you would like the FAB to raise, please get in touch, and join our mailing list to hear about upcoming surveys and consultations.
