The FSA (Football Supporters Association) has produced a document that acts as a basic FAQ guide to the range of powers that the IFR (Independent Football Regulator) has, and the circumstances in which they might be used.
The document is based on the FSA’s reading of the legislation and the intentions of the IFR based on the guidance and briefings from the regulator.
The way the IFR sets about its work in practice will become clearer as it finalises its policy and guidance, and it may then vary over time as the it concludes its consultations, the implementation of the Act progresses and experience teaches lessons.
