Our Purpose
The Women’s Team Extended Network exists to ensure supporters of Aston Villa Women have a powerful, representative voice in shaping the matchday experience, identity, and future of the women’s team.
Our vision is to make Aston Villa Women a Women’s Super League leader in fan engagement — building a strong, connected, and growing community that reflects the ambition, values, and pride of the club.
Our Mission
Fan Engagement & Community
- We will strengthen the bond between supporters and the Club through open communication, consistent digital engagement, events, and storytelling.
- Our aim is to create a vibrant, inclusive community where fans feel connected whether at the stadium, online, or across the world.
Matchday Experience & Accessibility
- We will work with AVWFC to enhance the matchday experience — improving comfort, atmosphere, accessibility, and enjoyment for all supporters.
- This includes ticketing initiatives, wayfinding, family-friendly spaces, and enhanced support for disabled fans.
Growing the Fan Base
- Aston Villa Women deserve strong, passionate support.
- We will support fan-base growth through targeted campaigns, school and community outreach, and work to ensure attending AVWFC matches is accessible and affordable for everyone.
Commercial, Retail & Merchandise
- Supporters should see themselves reflected in the club’s brand.
- We will work with AVWFC to align merchandise, retail presence, and commercial partnerships with the identity of the women’s team and the needs of its supporters.
Identity, Culture & Values
- We will help shape a clear and meaningful Aston Villa Women identity — rooted in the club’s heritage, connected to the community, and reflective of inclusivity, ambition, and pride.
How We Work
The Network is a collaboration between fans, club leaders, and the FAB.
It is chaired by representatives from Villa Bellas, supported by senior AVWFC staff, and informed by supporters from across the AVWFC community — families, young fans, disabled supporters, local groups, and season ticket holders.
After each meeting we will publish summary minutes and actions, ensuring transparency and accountability.
